BODY's Yoga Alliance-certified teacher trainings are rooted in the yogic traditions of the heart. Our ongoing modules offer student-teachers of all experience levels the chance to immerse in the practical, theoretical, historical, and spiritual dimensions of vinyasa yoga. Explore asana -- the postures of yoga -- as profound tools of transformation, while diving into three ancient Indian traditions: the Bhakti tradition of love, devotion, and surrender, the Shiva tradition of the transformative fire, and the meditative tradition of the Patanjali Yoga Sutras.
From instructors who combine a passion for creative movement with a firm grounding in the vast traditions of yoga and Eastern thought, we are thrilled to offer courses to deepen your practice, awaken your heart, and empower you on the path of teaching yoga!
At BODY we offer our teacher training in distinct 100-hour modules. Each module is themed around a specific set of teachings and practices within the yogic tradition so that students can choose the modules that best align with their own path of learning and self-discovery. All modules contain a foundation in practice teaching, sequencing, meditation, anatomy, philosophy, pranayama, and asana work.
Modules are designed for people with busy schedules and full time jobs; sessions are held evenings, early mornings, and weekend afternoons.

A review from a recent participant in BODY's Yoga Teacher Training Program:
"Body of Santa Fe's 200h YTT offers a thorough, well- rounded curriculum. Having teacher trainers from multiple lineages (Prana Flow, Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Laughing Lotus) was a blessing, as each was able to offer unique insights into the practice. The curriculum delves deeply into anatomy, alignment, sequencing techniques, philosophy, pranayama, bandhas, kriyas, meditation, assisting, and energetics. Guest speakers added greatly to the breadth of these discussions. This 200h training provides an incredible foundation for beginning to teach yoga."
