Begin with a discussion with parents about how kids learn through play. Parents review specific milestones for each age with a sampling of play activities and toys. Parents and children come together in a circle to share their experience – what they saw, felt, heard during the play time with their children. Inquiries: What challenges to their perceptions of learning and did they encounter? What was the experience of observation? Was there any new learning, discoveries, take-home-messages?
